- Should have passed G. C. E. Advanced Level
- Five (5) years experience in media reporting
- Ability of digital creative works
- Ability to work in English language
- Understanding about social media
- Should be a Sri Lankan citizen
- Should have a good moral character
- Should be below 45 years of age
- Applicants should have a good mental and physical health to discharge duties of the post well and be prepared to get assignments or work in any nominated locations of the country.
