Applications for the Competitive Examination for Recruitment to Grade III of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service (SLAS) under the Merit Stream-2026 are being accepted from eligible Sri Lankan citizens by the Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils, and Local Government.
Ten open positions in Grade III of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service will be filled in accordance with Public Administration Circular No. 17/2026, dated August 10, 2026.
Candidates must either have at least 20 years of active and satisfactory service, including 10 years in Grade I, or be officers in the Supra Class of the Management Service Officers’ Service or Provincial Management Service Officers’ Service. The additional service and disciplinary requirements listed in the circular must also be met by applicants.
