Publication of Openings for Grade III Officer Recruitment in the Sri Lanka Principals Service (SLPS) for 2025–2026.
The district-specific openings for Grade III of the Sri Lanka Principals Service-2025/2026 have been announced in a Gazette notice by the Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education.
Recruitment will be done to fill the authorized positions in government schools (National and Provincial Schools) based on the outcomes of the written competitive exam held on June 7, 2026, and the scheduled interviews, according to the Gazette notification published on November 6, 2026.

Interview Selection and Further Details
- Interviews will be conducted with candidates at twice the number of open positions in each district under each language medium.
- The Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education’s official website will host the list of qualified applicants chosen for interviews.
- Details regarding the interview venue, date, time and documents required for the interview will also be published later.
- The interview should be attended by candidates whose names are on the list of eligible candidates.
- A letter will also be sent to candidates. Nevertheless, after confirming their identity, candidates will be permitted to attend the interview even if the letter is not received.
